innovation
Traditional Voltage Transformers (VTs) lack the necessary bandwidth and accuracy for harmonic measurement, prompting the availability of cost-effective broadband LPVTs.
LPVTs provide superior bandwidth and phase performance; however, their output voltage is often incompatible with existing measurement equipment. The VECTO LPVT Amplifier is designed to enhance the output voltage of LPVTs to match the levels of traditional VTs (±63.5VL-E).
The combination of a LPVT and the VECTO LPVT Amplifier serves as a convenient substitute for conventional VTs, offering an impressive bandwidth of 100kHz compared to the ±2kHz bandwidth typically found in traditional VTs. We took this opportunity to align the device’s features with market needs, incorporating valuable feedback from our clients to ensure it meets and exceeds their expectations.
The VECTO LPVT Amplifier is a high-performance, 100kHz bandwidth device specifically designed to convert the output signals of Low-Power Voltage Transformers (LPVTs) into conventional 110VL-L output signals. This innovative solution addresses the limitations of traditional Voltage Transformers (VT‘s), which often lack the bandwidth and accuracy required for effective power quality harmonic measurement.
LPVT’s offer superior bandwidth and phase performance compared to traditional VT‘s but frequently present output voltage levels incompatible with standard measurement equipment.
The VECTO LPVT Amplifier bridges this gap by enhancing LPVT output signals to match the levels of conventional VT‘s (±63.5VL-E), ensuring seamless compatibility with existing systems.
